Friends we observe today not only the 3rd Year of Rotary Chanakya but a celebration of sincere efforts and milestones achieved during this short span by Rotary Chanakya in its contribution towards the welfare of the HUMANITY and THE COMMUNITY
This day symbolizes  an end as well as a beginning .It signifies a renewal as well as a change .For Today . I as a President on behalf of the Board swear before you and the Almighty God the same solemn oath prescribed by the Founders of Rotary International ---- the oath of SERVICE ABOVE SELF.
The trumpet has summoned me again – not as a call to wear a CROWN , not as a call to preside at the meetings but a call to bear the burden of a long twilight cause set by the ROTARY INTERNATIONAL, year in and year out , rejoicing in hope , patient in tribulation a struggle against the common enemies of MAN – tyranny , poverty ,disease and illiteracy.
The members of Rotary Chanakya will never forget that they are the heirs of ROTARY REVOLUTION. Our members want the word to go forth to Rotarians , to the community that the torch had been given to them as a new generation of Rotary –tempered by struggle, disciplined by hard and bitter peace , proud  of their ancient heritage and unwilling to witness or permit the slow undoing of those noble causes to which the Rotary International has been committed and to which today Rotary Chanakya has been committed in the Society and the District 3250.
