• 13 Jan Proposed club Rtoary Chanakya meeting was held at Hotel Chanakya
• 25 Jan Responsibility of New Members in New Club a talk by PP. Rtn. Dr. R.N. Singh. 
• 26 Jan Board of Directors Meeting held at the residence of President Elect Rtn. Binod Todi. 
• 26 Jan Adoption of a school Bal Vikas Vidhyalaya at Adalataganj, Budh Marg, Patna and Republic Day  celebrated.
• 28 Jan   Welcome & Felicitation of GSE Team Members at Bankipore Club and welcome and felicitation of two eminent Doctors who were awarded Padam Shree.
• 30 Jan   Welcome and felicitation of Padam Bhushan Dr. D. Veerendra Hegde from Dharamsthal, Kamataka. 
• 01 Feb  Upnishad – A talk by Hon’ble Air Vice Marshal (Retd.) Shri Vishwa Mohan Tiwari.
• 11 Feb  Saraswati Puja was celebrated with the children of our adopted school.
• 14 Feb  Jodha Akbar a Premier Film show organized by club for fund raising.
• 23 Feb   103rd Birth Anniversary of Rotary celebrated. A Rotary Quiz was also organized on the occasion.
• 24 Feb  The 3rd Board of Directors meeting was held at the residence of Vice President Rtn. Ashwani Gupta.
• 29 Feb.  Nari Shashaktikaran – A talk given by lady Rotarians and R/Anne’s. 1st Lady of Dist. 3250 Rtn. Dr. Poonam Khandelwal was the Chief Guest of this evening.
• 9 Mar  Health Checkup camp and eye screening was organized at village of Dharhara . A hand pump was installed for the villagers.
• 9 Mar  RCC at Dharhara formed.
• 12 Mar  Eye operation held.
• 18 Mar  The Pre Holi Milan was organized at New Patna Club on 18 the March 2008 with Members & families of Our Club. The Daboo Shukla orchaestra thrilled the Members & Guest who danced in Holi Mood for more then three hours.
• 20 Mar  RACE Premier Film Show was organized at Regent Theatre for Fund Raising.

Rotary Chankya our Missions & Ambitions 

Every social service organization is born with certain goals and mission with an ambition to serve the community to the best of their capacity and capability. 

We decided to lay the foundation of our club on the very “Basic Principles” of the legendry Paul Harris the Founder of the Rotary Movement more than a century ago.

The principle that for every social organization, it is essential that a group of like minded friends come together, exchange their thoughts and then proceed to social service. 

A cohesive team of like minded people are capable of providing service to the community with smile on their faces. 

Few already had the Rotary Spirit amongst us and few new friends are eager to join our hands for “Service Above Self”. 

We set out on our mission to form a club with friends, friends and friends with unanimous view of serving the community without sacrificing our fellowship. We believe that fellowship leads to commitments and commitments lead to achievable targets of social service. 

There has never been a moment since the thought of our new Rotary Club came to our minds that we sat, relaxed for a moment. 

Formation of Rotarry Chanakya at the earliest became our mission and the clubs committed to serve the community in the spirit of a “Family get together” become our ambition. 

We have been able to achieve our mission with the garace of God and well wishes of dear friends like you who are here this evening to share the joy of our existence. 

The Charter presentation ceremony of our beloved “Rotary Chanakya” led by our ever smiling and dynamic Rtn. Vijay Jain as the Charter President and Turbinator Rtn. G. S. Saluja as the charter Secretary.
